JULY ON THE ALPS
Valtellina is an alpine area of northern Italy, which rises from 200 meters up to 4000 m. of the Bernina lace. The cultures are in the valley floor forages and apple orchards, climbing the vineyards cultivated in terraces, then woods, mountain pastures up to the peaks with perennial snows and glaciers. 14 July: 35th King Stelvio Mapei (cycling / running) road and cycling competition for professionals and amateurs on the legendary Stelvio ascent from Bormio to Cima Coppi.

27 July: Alta Valtellina Bike Marathon (International MTB Race) The most challenging MTB Marathon in the Alps in the Stelvio National Park.
