STELVIO CHALLENGE 2016
Stelvio Challenge 2016. The June 24 2016 will be held the meeting in Bormio to celebrate twenty years of Soccorso Clown non-profit organization. A challenging weekend with the bike, with the sponsorship of the Italian Cycling Federation (FCI), but especially the Stelvio 2016 Challenge is a contest of solidarity organized to raise funds to ensure the activities of the Hospital Clown at the Policlinico Umberto I in Rome, already present for over 15 years. The Clown hospital, are committed to cheer children in hospitals to donate to children and their families moments of serenity and recreation in collaboration with doctors and nurses.
A new form of entertainment to address and transform the hospital environment, to give moments of leisure and game for children in hospital, thanks to professionals of the art of theater and circus health who know techniques to distract and entertain the little ones sick.
The meeting includes a few days of training and then the great challenge of the June 24, 2016, with the departure from Bormio and arrival to Passo Stelvio which includes the climb of the mountain pass “Cima Coppi”, the legendary climb of the Tour of Italy.
